Today I’m joined by my friend, comedian Venessa Peruda to talk about her bold new one-woman show “All the Rage” an exploration of women’s anger. We dive into the cultural conditioning that teaches us to suppress our righteous rage and unpack what it really looks like to reclaim it. We explore the emotional disguises anger can wear—like sadness, guilt, or anxiety—and how to begin recognizing when your anger is hiding in plain sight. We also invite listeners to become curious about their own relationship with anger and how expressing it might actually lead to deeper self-trust and healing.
Plus, we get into ancient archetypes like the Egyptian lioness goddess Sekhmet, and share a few thoughts on the quiet wisdom of cat ownership.
