Riots, murders, executions, and decades of human suffering left a permanent mark on the prison’s history. Even after the penitentiary finally closed in 2004, many believe the darkness inside never truly disappeared.

Cameron was on a ghost tour in St. Augustine, expecting the usual—history, atmosphere, and stories designed to make you look twice at the shadows.
