July 30th: Erica Parsons Reported Missing (2013)

Adoption can, oftentimes, offer a child a better life. Or, at least, that’s the hope. On July 30th 2013 a young girl was reported missing. One whose life was made infinitely worse by the couple who adopted her.

July 29th: Jessica Currin Goes Out(2000)

Some cases are so badly handled there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix them no matter how hard some people try. On July 29th 2000 a young woman went out for the night and never came back. A case that, from the very beginning, was mishandled by local police and, because of that, has seen mistake upon mistake throughout the years.

July 27th: LaVena Johnson Born (1985)

When tragedy strikes a family will do anything to make sense of their loss. On July 27th 1985 a young woman was born who would lose her life while thousands of miles away from home. A death that her family swears was at the hands of someone else.
