    18/08/2026 | 38 min
Today, Russia has warned of "consequences" for the UK, after is was confirmed that British-made drones were used by Ukraine to strike Russia.
The Russian embassy in London earlier accused Britain of "deliberately opting for an escalation of the Ukraine crisis", adding that "the deeper its involvement in the conflict... the higher the price it will pay". In response, prime minister Andy Burnham has reiterated that the UK ‘supports Ukraine 100%’.
Adam and Alex speak to Ukraine correspondent Dan Johnson about the situation on the ground, and if we know what role the UK drones played. Adam and Alex also discuss the suspension of Tim Montgomerie from Reform UK, reportedly because of comments made about Zia Yusuf.
Plus, technology and AI editor Zoe Kleinman is on the line to discuss the latest Meta trial in the US, where 30 states are taking Meta to court over social media addiction and child privacy claims.

Trump Threatens To Bomb "The S*** Out Of" Oman

    17/08/2026 | 36 min
Today, Donald Trump has said he will “bomb the shit” out of Oman if it “gets in the way” of US talks with Iran.
Oman, which says it is a neutral country between Iran and the US, has suffered a number of strikes from Iran since the conflict broke out. However, it is now playing a role in negotiations to reopen the strait. On Monday, Iranian officials said they were close to finalising a deal with Oman on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Jeremy Bowen, BBC international editor joins Adam to discuss Trump’s comments and ongoing negotiations between the US, Israel and Hamas on the implementation of the Gaza peace plan.
Plus, Joe Pike and Ben Chu join Adam to break down Reform UK’s pitch to ban foreign nationals from accessing most benefits as part of their proposed welfare reforms. They claim the plans would save £21bn a year by its fifth year, but the government says the policy would plunge the UK “back into years of Brexit re-negotiations”.
