A Storm of Spoilers

This week, Da7e and Neil have reached the penultimate episode of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two. Which, mercifully, means there's only one left. But also, another very fun installment of The Godzilla Project RPG awaits!
In The Calm [07:50], they discuss Godzilla's brief involvement in the show's story and debate all the ways in which Monarch could reset the timeline and make the journey worth it.
Then in The Storm [53:16], they offer up their own versions of satisfying conclusions for season 2 and wonder if the show will come even close.
And finally, The Godzilla Project [01:04:30] RPG reaches the marketing phase. Neil pitches the trailer for Godzilla: Awakening, decides on a merch strategy, and faces off against Journalist Da7e for several contentious press tour rolls.
Next week, it's finales all around as Monarch closes out season two with an episode called "Where We Belong" and the final rolls of The Godzilla Project hit the table.

This week, Da7e and Neil are still watching Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, a show that now includes some Godzilla. They also continue the highly-acclaimed Godzilla Project RPG!

This week, Da7e and Neil get distracted from their search for Godzilla by a flurry of confusing time travel rules as Monarch: Legacy of Monsters enters its season-closing arc.
In The Calm [07:20], they question the laws of space and time as they apply to this show's plot and wonder how the writer's room will dig itself out of an increasingly perilous corner. They also discuss the potential resolutions to the season's story and whether any of them would be satisfying without breaking the canon of the Monsterverse.

Then in The Storm [57:30], your faithful hosts anticipate next week's episode, which promises a shorter runtime but, more importantly, the long-awaited presence of Godzilla.
And finally, The Godzilla Project [01:06:16] RPG dives into the post-production process as Neil's Godzilla: Awakening gets an assembly cut, a conclusion, and a schedule for reshoots as studio interference looms.

This week, Da7e and Neil celebrate the arrival of a long-lost Titan friend, if only briefly, as Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 gains momentum.
In The Calm [06:46], they consider whether this season of television would work better if it were a few episodes shorter. Then they break down the episode, highlighting its befuddling editing choices, a new addition to the cast, and the necessity for an Antagonist Check-In for at least one member of the Randa family.
Then in The Storm [56:40], your faithful hosts do their best to explain String Theory and use it to predict just how much timey-wimey nonsense this show is about to throw at its audience.
And finally, The Godzilla Project [01:06:00] RPG experience continues. Producer Neil takes more notes from the creative braintrust (the listeners), makes important decisions about key action set pieces, and rolls dice to decide if he's going to get buy-in from one of the big names in his cast.
