  • DBS Series Episode 11: Troy Sherman - John Week
In this final teaching episode of the 2025 DBS Series, Troy Sherman brings his signature humor, insight, and challenge as he unpacks the books of John, 1st, 2nd, 3rd John, and Revelation. He reminds us that our walk with God is a lifelong journey of learning, and that we don’t have to know it all to love the Word deeply. With boldness and humility, Troy invites us to hold our beliefs with open hands, let go of arguments, and return to the heart of Jesus."Never stop learning—otherwise something has gone wrong. When your first instinct becomes correcting other people’s theology, that’s a red flag. John’s writings are full of that reminder. People were fighting about everything, and John just comes in like, ‘Stop it!’" — Troy ShermanThis episode is full of laughter, depth, and reflection—an incredible way to wrap up our DBS series. Thanks for joining us on the journey!

  • DBS Series Episode 10: Jacqui Colmenares - Paul Week
In this episode, Jacqui Colmenares teaches on the life and letters of the Apostle Paul. From his dramatic conversion to his deep theological insights, Paul shows us what it means to live in the grace of God, walk in true humility, and be part of the body of Christ."Do we understand our need for grace? For Paul, it wasn’t just a one-time moment. As time went on, it got bigger. He saw more clearly what he’d be without it. And I think we can forget that. We can get prideful in our knowledge or walk with the Lord. But Paul reminds us—we can’t hold control. It has to be Jesus." — Jacqui ColmenaresWhether you’ve read Paul’s letters before or you’re hearing his story for the first time, this week is full of powerful revelation and practical reminders to live surrendered to Jesus.📩 We'd love to hear how this episode encouraged you!📧 Email: [email protected]📱 Follow us: @ywamnashville on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook🎓 Learn more: ywamnashville.org/dbs#YWAMNashville #DBS #DiscipleshipBibleSchool #PaulWeek #KnowGodMakeHimKnown #Grace #Humility #BodyOfChrist

  • DBS Series Episode 9: Ange Miracle - Church Week
In this episode, Ange Miracle walks us through the early church—its successes, struggles, and exponential growth. From the day of Pentecost to the spreading of the gospel throughout the Roman world, we see how God’s plan for His people unfolded."The event of Pentecost was actually the reversal of something that we've already read about in the Old Testament— the Tower of Babel—where the human race was divided by languages. Pentecost hints at what was to come: the gospel going to all nations. At Babel, people tried to make a name for themselves; at Pentecost, God was the one doing the work." — Ange MiracleJoin us as we explore how the Holy Spirit empowered the early church, the challenges they faced, and what it means to be a part of God’s kingdom today.📩 We’d love to hear your thoughts!📧 Email us at [email protected]📱 Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook: @YWAMNashville#YWAMNashville #DBS #DiscipleshipBibleSchool #ChurchWeek #Acts #EarlyChurch #Pentecost #Missions #KnowGodMakeHimKnown
