Emerging producer AOIFE announces the release of their debut EP, a dark and hypnotic collection that explores deeply personal themes through powerful low-end pressure, immersive textures and driving rhythms. Drawing inspiration from the techno traditions of Detroit, Birmingham and Spain, the record also incorporates subtle influences from the UK's broken beat and bass music scenes.

The release is further strengthened by remix contributions from Anna Kost and label boss RVDMNTL. Anna Kost reimagines the original with a stripped-back, lo-fi approach, introducing dubstep-inspired elements while retaining the EP's atmospheric intensity.

Oscide soundtracks Local Selection number 308 with an all-vinyl trip that hits the perfect sweet spot between garage and house, swung crisp drums, lush deep chords mixed with utter proficiency from a pillar of Dublin’s club culture

Oscide is the alias of Dublin-born producer and DJ Craig Scully, whose approach has been shaped by nearly two decades behind the decks and in the studio. Moving fluidly between house, tech house and UK garage influences, his sets and productions are defined by rolling percussion, weighty low-end grooves and carefully placed vocal hooks, balancing dancefloor functionality with a distinctive rhythmic touch.

A familiar figure in Dublin’s underground scene, Oscide has been a longstanding resident with the Illicit Dublin collective while also launching What’s In Your Bag?, a vinyl-led interview and mix series highlighting selectors from Dublin and further afield.

His recent output has included collaborations with Chicago house pioneer Chez Damier, with forthcoming projects set to expand his catalogue further, including an official remix for French producer Brawther. With new releases and collaborations lined up, Oscide continues to refine a sound rooted in groove, rhythm and timeless club music.

His contribution to the Local Selection series feels long overdue. Drawing on years of experience behind the decks, Oscide showcases both his depth of musical knowledge and refined approach to DJing, allowing the records to do the talking. Belfast’s mkbest is an artist deeply embedded in the city’s club culture, an instinctive student of deeper, more refined strains of house music. Her sound is rooted in a stripped-back, patient aesthetic that prioritises atmosphere, progression, and emotional connection on the dancefloor above all else.

Drawing influence from artists such as Malin Genie and Etzu Mahkayah, alongside foundational figures like Eddie Richards and Kerri Chandler, her selections bridge contemporary underground sensibilities with the classic lineage of house music.
