Mads and Laura have one last discussion about 9-1-1. Did the finale live up to expectations? In short, for the most part. There were parts we loved and parts that had us shaking our heads. All in all, not a bad final episode for us.

As Mads and Laura start to wind this podcast down, we become more and more frustrated with the lack of care being given to the writing on this show. A child storyline that doesn't work and a migrant story that isn't centered where it needs to be really highlights where the writing is lacking.

Laura and Mads breakdown the addiction storyline with Buck and why 9-1-1 might be swinging big with their focus on things like immigration and drug addiction but their lack of follow through makes these stories a bit of a miss.
