Oh boy for this months edition of The Unit 3.14 podcast we got a balls to the walls guest mix from the one and only Conductor from Kentucky. Conductor (Mary Brooks) is a drum and bass (DnB) DJ based in Lexington, Kentucky, known for her deep-rooted connection to the genre and her role in nurturing the local scene.

Musical Style & Influence: Her passion for drum and bass is described as a daily commitment and a "slice of freedom" that she has fought to establish within the music community.



She is part of a prominent Kentucky DnB family; she is the mother of PSYOP (Violet Brooks), a young DJ prodigy who gained attention at age 12. Based in the Lexington area, she is active in the KY Drum N Bass community, often performing at local venues and supporting regional events alongside long-time collaborators like Larry Short (NOX).
