    Has Social Media For Children Just Changed Forever?

    Today, we discuss Meta’s decision to agree to an $18 billion settlement resolving claims from 29 US states that Facebook and Instagram harmed children.
    Technology and AI editor Zoe Kleinman joins Adam to discuss the short trial and why Meta have settled and not admitted any wrongdoing. New features will be implemented on Facebook and Instagram for children including two-hour daily time limits and a night mode - but Meta says other tech platforms should be made to adopt these features too.
    And, the Home Office has released its latest figures showing small boat arrivals have dropped by 23% on the previous year. Dominic Casciani, Home and Legal correspondent unpacks the story behind the latest migration statistics.
