Brett & Danielle are back with an all-new episode after Survivor 50's shocking fake idol play on Wednesday night's episode. Yes, Chekhov's fake idol buried at the Tribal Council set did make an appearance in a wild play from Rick that may or may not have swayed a vote against Coach and Chrissy in a double-tribal twist that no one saw coming. We talk about the state of Survivor twists and how they often succeed or fail based on who goes home as a result -- not how good the twist actually is.
In more you may be bad at watching TV discourse, we break down The Pitt's season two finale and most importantly, whether or not Dr. Robby is taking home Baby Jane Doe.

Brett & Danielle are back for another episode of Hey Jeff where they discuss Wednesday night's episode of Survivor 50 where Dee was sent home after some back and forth tussles with Coach and Jonathan over the 'right' way to play Survivor.
Also, Coach's gameplay gets more erratic, Aubry's idol play is somewhat contentious and all of this leads us into tangents on lint traps, smoke detectors and more.
Speaking of the 'right' way to do things -- the dIsCoUrSe this week has been about whether or not the general viewing audience is watching The Pitt correctly. As the show wraps up its second season and its plotlines around Drs. Robby, Al-Hashimi and Whitaker come to a close -- does ANYONE know how to watch TV correctly? Or are we all mush-brained now thanks to modern media?

Jeff Probst introduced the newest Survivor twist with Wednesday night's bLoOd mOoN, and it sure did make the show's fandom go nuts...with rage.
Brett & Danielle recap what was essentially a relatively rote (for New Era) Survivor triple-tribal that sent home Kamilla, Genevieve & Colby. Sure, three audience faves went home perhaps a bit too early, but on the other hand, who cares? It's Survivor. They debate fairness vs. bad luck and ask everyone to take a big, Shark Bowl-sized chill pill.
Also on the episode, Cirie's endorsement of the poly lifestyle, more theories with two episodes left of The Pitt and Danielle explains the Summer House drama.

In the first true double-tribal of the season, Christian looked death in the face and laughed as he maneuvered his way out of an early exit and seemingly cozied up to Ozzy enough to oust Angelina.
Meanwhile on another beach, Charlie's hatred of Rizo boiled over to the point where he looked like the king doofus. The Swiftie got swiftly voted out as Rizo continues his now two-season streak of riding a pocketed immunity idol deep into the game.
