How to Explain the Trinity to Your Kids (Even at Age 3)

    17/09/2026 | 11 min
How do you explain the Trinity to a child when you can barely wrap your own mind around it? When a four-year-old asks what the difference is between God and Jesus, most parents freeze. In this episode, Elizabeth Urbanowicz shares the simple, repeatable approach she uses to introduce the Trinity to children as young as three: the one definition worth memorizing, why the familiar apple and water analogies may be teaching the wrong idea, and a simple game that helps the lesson stick at the kitchen table. If you have ever fumbled this question at bedtime, this episode gives you a clear place to start.

Mom Rage Videos: The Truth Behind This Trend

    10/09/2026 | 20 min
Social media has been flooded recently with videos of mothers filming themselves losing control with their children, along with content framed as satire in which a woman mistreats a fake baby to make the point that children are a burden. What should Christian parents make of it? In this episode Elizabeth Urbanowicz reaches for a word she says she has never used before on this podcast, and explains why she believes it fits.
But the sharper question comes next. What if the parents listening are the most effective answer to this trend? There are young women nearby who are being told that marriage and motherhood are burdens to avoid, and young men being told their work exists to serve their passions. How many of them have ever watched a godly marriage up close, and what would it take to let them?
Elizabeth offers three questions for Christian moms and three for Christian dads to pray through, along with a word for single women and for anyone too deep in the toddler years to imagine having the margin for any of this.

Tattoos and the Bible: What to Teach Your Kids

    27/08/2026 | 19 min
Tattoos are becoming more common among Christians, so how should we think about them, and how do we help our kids think about them biblically? There is only one verse in all of Scripture that directly mentions tattoos. Does it settle the question for Christians today, or not?
In this episode, Elizabeth Urbanowicz looks at what the Bible actually says, starting with Leviticus 19:28 and why it applied to ancient Israel in a specific way. From there she walks through four biblical principles that shape a wise, God-honoring decision: children obeying their parents, glorifying God in everything, honoring God with our bodies, and walking in wisdom. Along the way she raises the questions worth asking before anyone gets a tattoo, from whether an image is superstitious to whether it will still fit the person you become decades from now.
If you want to give your kids the skills to work through questions like this on their own, this episode is a good place to start.

Mean Friends: How Do You Deal With Them?

    18/08/2026 | 16 min
Your child has a friend who causes drama, whines when things don't go their way, and never seems to be disciplined at home. Do you allow the friendship to continue? And where exactly is the boundary?
In this episode, Elizabeth Urbanowicz takes on a question every parent eventually faces. What is the actual goal of friendship, and how do you teach it to a young child? When a difficult friend is a classmate, a teammate, or the neighbor knocking on your door every afternoon, how do you stay kind while still setting limits? And what should you do when your own child is the one drawn to the friend you're worried about?
Elizabeth offers biblical boundaries and practical, situation-by-situation guidance for helping your child build healthy friendships, without simply cutting difficult children out of their life.
