This crazy French Open took yet another twist on Sunday as Iga Swiatek was beaten by Marta Kostyuk before a thrilling Joao Fonseca performance in the night session. Catherine, David and Matt recorded on Court Philippe-Chatrier at the end of it all.
Part one - We unpack Swiatek’s loss. Where did it go wrong for her? Will she ever rediscover her best form? How did the combination of Kostyuk's game and match nerves unsettle her? Catherine, David and Matt react to Jannik Sinner’s loss at Roland Garros, a result which blows the whole tournament wide open.
Part one - Men’s draw. We discuss how Sinner’s dramatic defeat to Juan Manuel Cerundolo unfolded as his 6-3 6-2 5-1 lead evaporated and his body wilted in the heat. How did Sinner explain what happened in his press conference? And what does it mean for the tournament?
