Denny Hamlin continued his thunderous roll in 2026 by winning his second Cup race in a row at Michigan International. The victory was monumental as it brought Denny to a tie with his longtime teammate Kyle Busch on the NASCAR all-time wins list. Our resident NASCAR reporters Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi were on the case as usual in Michigan, and they took to the airwaves for a live broadcast after the checkered flag flew to unpack the attrition filled day and what it means for the NASCAR points picture.

The motorsports world had heavy hearts as it embarked on its biggest day of the year. Fittingly, it rained in both Charlotte and Indianapolis all weekend as NASCAR and IndyCar competed in two of its biggest events.
