The Pitt season 1 was a revelation when it premiered in 2025. With so much hype leading into the second season, it wouldn't be surprising if the show failed to meet those expectations. The second season takes place 10 months later, and each character is in a much different place than when we last saw them. It sounds interesting enough, but did it work? Ted Lasso may have been the reason to sign up for Apple TV, but shrinking will be the reason you keep it. The third season recently concluded, and solidifies the series as the best comedy the platform has to offer. The Monsterverse films may be diminishing returns creatively, but thankfully, the television side doesn't have the same problem. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters returns to the small screen and has what so many have wished the films had: compelling human characters. The first season ended on quite the cliffhanger, and 3 years is a long time to wait between seasons. Hopefully, season 2 can be just as satisfying a watch.
