- In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by Rob McGrath from the Catholic Journey Project to talk about why non-Catholic Christians are becoming Catholic, what to expect for those on the journey, what the Catholic Church means by being the "fullness" of faith, and what a relationship with Jesus looks like in Catholicism.
Plus, we talk about the game-changing reality of the sacraments, apostolic succession, and what it means to find the Catholic Church versus "finding a church" as an Evangelical Christian.
It's an awesome conversation!

TikTok: @cordialcatholic - In this episode of The Cordial Catholic I'm joined, by TJ, an ordained Oneness Pentecostal Minister from the United Pentecostal Church International, to discuss his incredible conversion story from a charismatic Christian steeped in the Bible, theology, and the Holy Spirit, to a newly minted Catholic in the Church Christ founded.
TJ's journey is unique, from the perspective of a Oneness Pentecostal believer, but resonates deeply for so many of us. We discuss the idea of miracles, clashing in interpretation of Scripture and the problems with Sola Scriptura, and how we struggled to find charismatic Christians who looked like us in the Early Church – and why it looked so darn Catholic!
TJ recommends All in the Name from Catholic Answers for anyone looking to evangelize Oneness Pentecostal believers.

TikTok: @cordialcatholic - In this episode of The Cordial Catholic I'm joined, by Dr. LuElla D'Amico, an author, Professor of English, and a convert to the Catholic faith to talk about the roots of her conversion journey and what it means, for a church-shopping Evangelical Christian, to find an ultimate home in Catholicism. It's a great conversation as we dig into exactly what it means to "surrender" to the Truth of Catholicism, how accepting the authority of the Church isn't the same as finding a church that "ticks all the boxes," and the role of Truth, Beauty, and good literature shapes the Catholic life.
It's a fantastic conversation!

23/09/2026 | 1 h 29 minIn this episode of The Cordial Catholic I'm joined, by Kira Marie McCullough, an author, speaker, and Catholic convert from Evangelical Christianity, to talk about her remarkable journey into the Catholic faith.
Raised the daughter of a Protestant pastor, Kira's journey took her completely out of Christianity into the New Age movement and, following a dramatic life-altering car accident, back to belief in God and a new journey: to find the Church where Christ was! Kira's journey, from there, has many twists and turns and it was when she prayed the most dangerous prayer, "Lord, show me where to go," that her life took an unexpected turn to Catholicism.
For more from Kira visit her website.
