Our 26/27 Predictions: Best Signings, Breakout stars & Can Man United WIN the Premier League?! | EP. 419
12/08/2026 | 53 minOn this week’s episode of the Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Sids, and Chris are back in person and getting stuck into one of the best parts of pre-season… making wildly confident predictions that will definitely come back to haunt them by May.
The lads run through their 26/27 season predictions, including who they think will lift the Premier League trophy, who makes the top four, who takes the Golden Boot, Golden Glove, which big-money signing could flop, and which players are set for a breakout season. There are some big calls too, with Arsenal backed by some of the lads, Manchester United tipped as genuine title challengers, and Liverpool surprisingly left out of one predicted top four.
We also get into the summer transfer madness, including Morgan Rogers’ huge £117m move to Chelsea, Elliot Anderson’s £116m switch, West Ham’s retention of Jarrod Bowen and Spurs bringing in Sandro Tonali. The lads debate whether £100m has effectively become the new normal in football, and why the modern game seems to be producing fewer kids who actually want to grow up and be strikers.
Elsewhere, we discuss West Ham’s decision to permanently ban half-and-half scarves, discover a bizarre half-and-half calf tattoo, and hear about the legendary Zante goalkeeper who lets holidaymakers take penalties against him for a euro.
Oh, and there’s a Peter Crouch tune. Obviously.

05/08/2026 | 41 minOn this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Chris, and Sids return for a pre-season catch-up as they look ahead to another year of football, guests, and complete podcast chaos. Fresh from a summer break, the lads swap stories from their latest adventures, including Pete's new obsession with barbecuing, why outdoor kitchens are harder to use than they look, and the ambitious plans for a 24-hour charity livestream that could become one of the biggest things TPCP has ever attempted.
With the new football season just around the corner, the boys turn the episode over to you, reading through hundreds of listener suggestions for how the podcast could evolve. From crossover episodes and live tours to new weekly games, Sunday League commentary, bowling competitions and even a wives takeover, no idea is too ridiculous to escape discussion. Along the way they somehow find themselves defending the reputation of every bloke called Carl, pitching LeBron James as a regular feature, and putting Barack Obama on the ever-growing guest wishlist.
The lads also reflect on just how far the podcast has come over the past decade, from recording in pubs to interviewing Oscar winners, future kings and football's biggest names, while looking ahead to another season packed with huge guests, Premier League chat, and plenty of the nonsense you've come to expect. As always, let us know your favourite ideas in the comments below and tell us which new feature you'd love to hear on TPCP this season.

17/07/2026 | 1 h 11 minOn this episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete and Sids record from New York following England's heartbreaking World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina, reflecting on an emotional night that saw Thomas Tuchel's side come agonisingly close to reaching a World Cup final. The lads discuss the incredible atmosphere surrounding the tournament, the unique experience of covering football across America, and why this World Cup has delivered some of the most memorable stadiums and fan experiences they've ever witnessed.
The boys break down exactly where England's semi-final slipped away, debating whether sitting too deep ultimately cost them, the tactical decisions made in the closing stages, and whether the substitutions should have been more attacking. They discuss Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham's performances, Declan Rice's importance to the side, the emergence of Jed Spence and Dan Burn, and whether this England squad should ultimately be remembered as a success despite the painful exit.
Former England defender Gary Neville then joins the pod for an honest and emotional reaction to England's defeat. Gary explains what it feels like to be knocked out of a major tournament, why players carry those moments for the rest of their lives, and analyses Thomas Tuchel's biggest decisions. He also discusses England's defensive approach, whether the criticism of Tuchel is justified, the positives to take from the tournament, and why this World Cup has been one of the best football spectacles in recent memory.
There's also another ridiculous challenge as the boys swap footballs for darts with Morgan Rogers. Meanwhile Chris Stark dials in a special interview with the Blossoms as they discuss their new music and thoughts on the world cup so far.
Wrapping up with the latest Paddy Power Predictions League ahead of the World Cup Final, Tom's predictions from afar, and plenty of classic TPCP chaos—including power cuts, questionable New York backdrops and the usual nonsense.
