Last time we observed the healing of the lame man at the beautiful gate. It was truly an amazing miracle. Which raises the question… who should get the glory for this? God or the human instrument that He uses? In light of all that’s going on around us today, it’s an important question for us to carefully consider, even in our own lives as we go about serving the Lord.

In the Bible we have some wonderful examples on how to live and honor God, but there are also some examples on what not to do! And in the passage before us King Saul is trying to do things his own way, attempting to fight the flesh with the flesh. And that never goes well!
