A Russian drone struck a train near Ukraine’s border with Poland this morning – shortly after the former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and some of Europe’s most senior security advisers, including the UK's Johnathan Powell, passed along the same line. Ukraine’s railway authority said it was “quite likely” Russia had targeted the diplomatic train. Also: President Trump has warned against putting up "guardrails" in the race to develop artificial intelligence, amid growing concerns about the safety of the technology. Reform UK has been given a second £36m donation in as many days -- after the cryptocurrency investor Christopher Harborne said he had matched a sum donated last night. Mr Harborne has told the Daily Telegraph his 'competitive spirit' made him want to equal the amount given by the businessman, Ben Delo. Reform say the record-breaking cash injection will help to level the playing field; the Liberal Democrats and the Greens have joined campaigners in calling for a cap on politicial donations.
