Former NHL Goalie Jamie Mclennan joined the show off the top to break down Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. He also comments on Dylan Larkin requesting a trade out of Detroit and a possible Darnell Nurse trade coming.
 It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.
After the break, we got into MMMM That's Good for the Italian Centre where we celebrate JMO cancer being in remission after being diagnosed 5 years ago today.

With the CFL season officially kicking off tonight, there was no better person to talk to than TSN's Marshall Ferguson! Marshall stopped by to dish his favorite storylines heading into the 2026 campaign, including what he expects from Chad Kelly this year. Plus, we get his definitive thoughts on our Edmonton Elks—is this finally the season they take a major step forward?

He told us why he thinks the Golden Knights are just scratching the surface after Game 1, and we debated whether Jon Cooper's long-awaited Jack Adams Award was fully deserved. Plus, Bruce weighed in on the coaching situations with the Maple Leafs and Oilers, before wrapping things up with his latest WWE update.
