CJ pulled back the curtain on the breaking news surrounding the conclusion of the NHL's Mike Babcock investigation. With Babcock officially cleared to return to an NHL bench, CJ breaks down exactly what this means for the Edmonton Oilers and what fans should expect if Stan Bowman makes the hire. Finally, we headed out East to look at a chaotic week for the Maple Leafs. CJ gave us the inside track on Toronto naming Jim Hiller as their 41st head coach, followed by breaking analysis on the massive eight-year sign-and-trade blockbuster that brought defenseman Darren Raddysh to the Leafs this morning.

The NHL has officially dropped its final verdict on the Mike Babcock investigation, clearing the path for Stan Bowman to make his move. We bring on the ultimate insider to figure out exactly what happens next.
 
But first, we got into Morning Announcements for The Rundle Park Short Course to recap all the action from last night. Obviously, we spent a good chunk of this segment touching on yesterday's historic win for Canada.

We started off with his thoughts on the Hurricanes winning it all this year then transitioned to the underwhelming news that broke in Toronto yesterday with the announcement of their new bench boss. We then got into the Oilers conversation, he shared his thoughts on the ongoing coaching situation and shared whether or not Mike Babcock is the right man for the job. We finished with Bruce like we always do, with some WWE talk.
