The Nielson Show

It's the final day of the week, meaning it's the final Nielson Show of the week. Lt. Eric made a veteran decision taking today and Monday off. So... The Dave Jamieson is stepping in for LTE.
 
The fellas start off the show by catching up, telling some stories, Febreze talk, Zach Hyman was snubbed and Skiier's are doing what at the Olympics!? We got Jamo's thoughts on the Elks offseason thus far.
 
Right after the break we discussed which is currently the biggest NHL rivalry… then we got into all sorts of Oilers talk. What's to blame the most, management, coaching, players and goalies.
 
To cap off hour one we Cracked Some Packs powered by Wayne's Sports Cards & Collectables.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia. 
 
It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda. Don't blink, you might miss it! 
 
Before Noodles, Gager stopped by for Scalding Hot Takes presented by Sports Academy.
 
Jamie McLennan was the final guest on today's show and of course it was all Oilers talk. What's going on, are the goalies the biggest issue, does the bottom six need to play more and who should the Oilers look to acquire come trade deadline. Noodles had all the answers.
 
The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff!

Luke Gazdic was the first guest on today's show. He started off with his thoughts on last night's Oilers game. Touched on the ice-time being deployed for the forwards, the struggles on the penalty kill and what's going on with the goaltending all the sudden. As the trade deadline approaches, he touched on whether they will make any acquisitions and finished with some words on Panarin getting traded to L.A..
 
It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.
 
In the middle of hour two, we got into I Got Beef! What are the boys beefing about today?!
 
To finish off hour two, Reid Wilkins stopped by! He gave his thoughts on who's the funniest EST staff member, his beef and of course some Oilers talk following last night's 4-3 loss.

The Edmonton Oilers head into the Olympic break having lost their last three games. On today's show, we dive right into last night's game where the Oilers lost to the Calgary Flames by the score of 4-3. YIKES.
 
The boy's went around the room sharing the initial thoughts on last night's game. We then heard from a spicy Leon Draisaitl after last night's game.
 
After the break, we got right into The Prolux Lighting Morning After Show! In this segment, we took a deep dive into last night's game. What was the key moment, what the super stat and who were the fourth and 38th stars…
 
To finish off the hour, we heard from Kris Knoblauch after last night's loss and played a new YTT original called Eyes Wide Open after Trev said he could keep his eyes open for an hour.
