  We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.    It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.   Which then led us into Scalding Hot Takes! Who won the elusive mitt today?   Right after that we setup tonight's game with the Orange & Blue Breakfast presented by GCL Diesel.   We then got into the Marmot Basin Snow Report.   The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff!

• The Nielson Show - December 11th, 2025 - Hour 2

  Luke Gazdic was the first guest on today's show. He started with who he'd select with the first overall pick in tomorrow's Christmas movie draft. He touched on the Oilers last game against the Sabres, tee'd up tonight's game against the Red Wings. He also shared what it was like to play alongside Cam Talbot which then dove into some of Gazdic's favourite stories on the road.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   After the break we got into I Got Beef! Plenty of good beef from the boy's today.   Reid Wilkins finished the second hour with his beef, thoughts on tomorrow's Christmas movie draft and a preview on tonight's game between the Oilers and Red Wings.

  We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show coming your way this freezing Thursday morning! The boys got caught up. Dusty told us about his eventful evening. We talked some Oilers hockey then Dusty then laid out the show.   The fellas briefly dipped into Morning Announcements to recap some action in the world of sport from last night.   After the break we got into another epic rendition of Tales of The North as the Oilers welcome in Todd McLellan, Cam Talbot and the Detroit Red Wings. This then led to Dusty asking could the Oilers have won a cup if Talbot was still the goalie.   To finish hour one we got Fired Up for Gemco Fireplaces. Today we spun the wheel to determine who picks where for tomorrow's Christmas draft.

  We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.    It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.   Ryan Rishaug was the first guest on hour three. He came by to discuss all things Oilers, starting with Evan Bouchard. Should he be held more accountable, the boys discussed. They then touched on last night's game as a whole and looked forward to their next stretch of games.   Cody Fajardo was the final guest on today's show. He came by to discuss his decision as to why he resigned in Edmonton, what is was like having Mark Killam as the coach and finished with how he's prepping for the upcoming season.   The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff!

  We're doing things a little in the second hour today. Noodles can't join until the middle of the hour, so we started with MMMMMM That's Good presented by The Italian Centre Shop to discuss the Edmonton Elks signing Cody Fajardo yesterday.   Then we dipped into Free Advice for Damon Bunting. Dusty dished out lots of fantasy advice on today's show and then the boys went around the room for some dating advice.   It was then time for Jamie McLennan who did his hit on the plane! He gave his initial thoughts on last night's game. Starting with Bouchard then touching on Skinner. He then gave some love to Podkolzin. Noodles finished with his thoughts on why the Sabres should be better and he also touched on the dating question we got earlier.   To finish hour two we discussed more Evan Bouchard.
