We then got into The Fan Zone for Northern Gage. Are the Oilers legit contenders..? The boy's discussed. 
 
We finished the show like we always do with The Wrap from William Huff.

TSN Hockey Analyst Craig Button kicked off today's show with an absolute jam-packed segment covering everything across the NHL landscape. The fellas led off by getting Craig's take on Isaac Howard and whether he stands as the lone prospect with a legitimate shot to break camp and crack Edmonton's opening-night roster. From there, the conversation shifted to the bigger picture in Oil Country, debating if the Oilers are still firm Stanley Cup contenders heading into the season. Craig also offered his assessment of Calgary's farm system to highlight any potential hidden gems down south, before reacting to the major contract extensions for Drake Batherson and Ryan Leonard. Finally, the segment brought the focus back home to Edmonton to break down what a potential future contract structure could look like for Matt Savoie.

After the break, Chris Streveler joined the show to recap his quick trip to London. It was all CFL talk after that sharing his thoughts on all the games in CFL Week 15.

Darren Dreger was the first guest on today's show. We started by getting right into the passing of former Oilers owner Cal Nichols. He touched on the importance of his role for the Oilers staying in Edmonton. We then got into some Babcock talk, Dreger touched on the dynamic between him and the superstars of this team. We then shifted gears to discuss what the heck is going on in Detroit.
