Joaquin Gage was the final guest on today's show. He stopped by to talk some F1 and plenty of Oilers talk as tomorrow is the big day.
 
We finished the show like we always do with The Wrap from William Huff.

Leading off today's show, NHL Insider Darren Dreger stopped by to put a bow on the preseason as we sit just hours away from opening night! Dregs shared his thoughts on how Mike Babcock managed the bench through exhibition play, emphasized why a fast start is critical for the Oilers, and gave a bleak forecast for Vancouver's upcoming season. To wrap up, Dregs scanned the Pacific Division playoff picture before weighing in on how long Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will remain paired on the top line.
 
We then gave our Early Bird Bet presented by Play Alberta.
 
Chris Streveler then joined the boys in the middle of hour two to give a full recap from CFL Week 17.
 
Mike Tanier capped hour two off with his thoughts a recap on NFL Week 3, as well as gave a preview to tonight's Monday nighter!

The fellas are back at the desk recapping their weekends with everyone's favourite Monday opener, Morning Announcements for The Rundle Park Short Course. First up in local sports, how about those Edmonton Elks?! In a wild, heart-stopping overtime thriller, the Green and Gold got the job done against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. We also touched on all the other games in CFL Week 17.
 
After the break, we got into The Fan Zone presented by Northern Gauge… What's your biggest question heading into the Oilers season, the fellas discussed.
 
We capped off hour one like we always do on a Monday's show with our good, bad and ugly from the weekend presented by Outline Homes.

Bruce Boudreau was the first guest on today's show. He shared his thoughts on the preseason being 4 games now as opposed to being 8. What are his thoughts on this and is it enough time? With the season upon us and him being the former bench boss of the Canucks, we got his thoughts on the Canucks for this season. He was asked to make a list for coaches who he thinks could be hoisting the cup by seasons end which he touched on and then he finished with his thoughts on what Vladdy said yesterday about his contract.

After the break, we got into everyone's beefs from the week.
 
Reid Wilkins capped off the hour with his beef, his thoughts on the Mooses comments from yesterday and who he thinks will be on Hyman & Nugent-Hopkins line at the start of the season. Then finished with a preview on the Elks game this weekend.
