It’s that time of the year again! The biggest post-rock, post-metal, post-adjacent festival in the US is here, and I want to talk about it! Postfest 2026 happens this weekend in Indianapolis, so I’m dedicating the show tonight to highlighting all they awesome bands that will be gracing the stage! The Lunar Orbit is back just in time for July 4th, and for America’s 250th anniversary I thought it would be a fun idea to walk people through a little tour of post-rock in the US. Starting with Slint and Rodan back in the 90s through to Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You and ending up with bands like Grails and Russian Circles. It’s been American bands pushing and evolving the genre for decade after decade. Come hope on the shuttle and enjoy the tour!

That’s right, it’s Post-Fest 2025!
