It’s now April, but we are still covered in snow over in Haunted Homebody land! Join us as Ashley reveals yet another embarrassing and questionable young adult memory about another wintery Stephen King adaptation, Misery. Is Sara okay after watching *that* scene? You know the one… And were we wrong to assume that the King of Horror could ever be considered cozy? And do we ever actually answer any of these theoretical intro questions? Probably not, but we at least have a lot of fun trying.

The Donner Pass is named after one of the most harrowing and tragic tales in American history. Not surprisingly the area is now haunted AF. But it is not just ghost dogs and badass pioneer women who haunt this infamous area. It is also haunted by its own incredibly treacherous landscape, which just keeps proving that, even with incredible progress, in the battle of man vs. nature, nature will always win.
From creepy train tunnels with tragic origin stories to even more moments that make you ask, “How is this a real story and not part of some movie?”, we hope you enjoy the haunted history and happenings of California’s Donner Pass.

Scream…7?? Today marks what (at least currently) is the end of the Scream franchise, and boy oh boy, what a journey it has been. At this point, you know we are going to be talking through the opening scene, the cozy factors, the not-so-cozy factors, and the Ghostface reveal–there’s a formula to it, after all! But did we like it? Would we recommend it to a friend? Did Scream 7 finally “ruin” the franchise for us? It’s time to find out!
