Taking place immediately following the events of the first, two of our absolute favorites - Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood - make their appearance! This week, we’ll talk the updated setting, upgraded weapons, and the same amazing Samara Weaving. . .and also a bit about a goat.

Today, we discuss absolute Scream Queen Samara Weaving, going head to head against a truly excellent cast of (overwhelmingly Canadian?) in-laws. . .I mean villains. . .all while wearing one of the most iconic horror movie outfits of all time. Is that a lot of hyperbole for one movie? Yes. Is it deserved? Definitely.

Well, homebodies, we have reached the end of our SNOWBOUND theme and hopefully also the end of this brutal New England winter! We are celebrating by watching another episode of Ashley’s comfort show, Murder, She Wrote. But today, we will discuss the MSW episode widely considered the most brutal of all. Dare I say, this is the closest thing to a “slasher” episode that we get from this show’s very long run. It’s now April, but we are still covered in snow over in Haunted Homebody land! Join us as Ashley reveals yet another embarrassing and questionable young adult memory about another wintery Stephen King adaptation, Misery. Is Sara okay after watching *that* scene? You know the one… And were we wrong to assume that the King of Horror could ever be considered cozy? And do we ever actually answer any of these theoretical intro questions?
