Just hours after the FIA and other parties met to fix the F1 regulations for 2026, its CEO Stefano Domenicali came out and said there was nothing to fix. No problems here.

And in terms of lessons learned, only two. That the manufacturers had too much influence on the Formula 1 engines (V8 turbos inbound, folks) and that the drivers talked too much. Oh. With the media giving them too much attention. Ah.

This wasn't a very smart move, mate.

The Spanish Formula 1 driver recalls how back in 2015, when Honda were also in trouble, many looked to his comments more than everyone else...even though his teammates were saying the exact same thing.

That alone tells you that he is not prepared to tow the line his team is towing...he is going off script and will not become the voice of Aston's Formula One struggles with Honda! And Honda themselves? It gives more understanding about their situation...and how they've been telling the truth the whole time!

Another day, another Guardian journalist involved with an F1 driver. This time around, Lando Norris was asked about his thoughts on the F1 2026 regulations and he was prevented from doing so by his own managers. Why? In a twist, that encounter was published along with the original article about Norris winning a prestigious award, the Laureus. On a joyful day, Lando's mood surely was ruined.

Well, well! A rarity. All parties AGREED on changes to F1 2026.

In a very unexpected twist, every party involved agreed to "refinements" to the Formula 1 2026 regulations in a vote managed by the FIA. Even Toto Wolff and Mercedes agreed to changes which do affect energy management quite a bit more than the team hoped for. Why? Because there might be a bigger encounter to prepare for in due course. The ADUO.

At the same time, this successful ruling and the changes planned in time for Miami and beyond do prove something to a tune that will please Max Verstappen. They are a start, but will they be enough to appease the Formula One driver and fans irate with the rules? We shall see, but hey! At least the drivers were heard this time.
