Daily IVE Homilies, April 29th, 2026 - The Cross That Suits you

    28/04/2026 | 6 min
00:00 Intro00:30 Gospel01:20 HomilyJesus cried out and said,“Whoever believes in me believes not only in mebut also in the one who sent me,and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.I came into the world as light,so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them,I do not condemn him,for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.Whoever rejects me and does not accept my wordshas something to judge him: the word that I spoke,it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on my own,but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life.So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”John 12 44-50https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/042926.cfmAll Christians Must Forgivehttps://youtu.be/bmadS5StpvM?si=taU4RF8m_2umOySpHow To Examine Your Soul?https://youtu.be/dGe1JkqoDiY?si=mmnJX09zckv4KeYALearn more about the Institute of the Incarnate Wordhttps://iveamerica.org/Looking for Catholic articles to read?https://iveamerica.org/blog/Are you in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Suriname?https://www.youtube.com/@IVEAmerica

Daily IVE Homilies, April 28th, 2026 - Christ's Encounter with Authorities

    27/04/2026 | 7 min
    00:00 Intro
    00:35 Gospel
    01:30 Homily
The feast of the Dedication was taking place in Jerusalem.
    It was winter.
And Jesus walked about in the temple area on the Portico of Solomon.
So the Jews gathered around him and said to him,
“How long are you going to keep us in suspense?
If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered them, “I told you and you do not believe.
The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me.
But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.
    My sheep hear my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
No one can take them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,
and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.
The Father and I are one.”

Daily IVE Homilies, April 27th, 2026 - I am the Good Shepherd

    27/04/2026 | 7 min
    00:00 Intro
    00:09 Gospel
    01:15 Homily
    Jesus said:
    “I am the good shepherd.
A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
A hired man, who is not a shepherd
and whose sheep are not his own,
sees a wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away,
and the wolf catches and scatters them.
This is because he works for pay and has no concern for the sheep.
    I am the good shepherd,
and I know mine and mine know me,
    just as the Father knows me and I know the Father;
and I will lay down my life for the sheep.
I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold.
These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice,
and there will be one flock, one shepherd.
This is why the Father loves me,
because I lay down my life in order to take it up again.
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own.
I have power to lay it down, and power to take it up again.
This command I have received from my Father.”

Daily IVE Homilies, April 26th, 2026 - He calls us by Name

    25/04/2026 | 13 min
00:00 Intro00:20 Gospel01:37 HomilyJesus said:"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever does not enter a sheepfold through the gatebut climbs over elsewhere is a thief and a robber. But whoever enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice,as the shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has driven out all his own,he walks ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they recognize his voice. But they will not follow a stranger;they will run away from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers."Although Jesus used this figure of speech, the Pharisees did not realize what he was trying to tell them.So Jesus said again, "Amen, amen, I say to you,I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.I am the gate.Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy;I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly."John 10:1-10https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/042626.cfmAll Christians Must Forgivehttps://youtu.be/bmadS5StpvM?si=taU4RF8m_2umOySpHow To Examine Your Soul?https://youtu.be/dGe1JkqoDiY?si=mmnJX09zckv4KeYALearn more about the Institute of the Incarnate Wordhttps://iveamerica.org/Looking for Catholic articles to read?https://iveamerica.org/blog/Are you in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Suriname?https://www.youtube.com/@IVEAmerica

Daily IVE Homilies, April 25th, 2026 - Be Like St. Mark: Don’t Be Discouraged By Your Sins

    24/04/2026 | 6 min
    00:00 Intro
    00:19 Gospel
    01:10 Homily
Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them:
    “Go into the whole world
and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.
    Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved;
whoever does not believe will be condemned.
These signs will accompany those who believe:
in my name they will drive out demons,
    they will speak new languages.
They will pick up serpents with their hands,
and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.
They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
”Then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them,
    was taken up into heaven
and took his seat at the right hand of God.
But they went forth and preached everywhere,
while the Lord worked with them
and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.
    Mark 16:15-20
