  • The Red Sox were not a friend to Rafael Devers, Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s wedding pics, is Aaron Rodgers fake married?, and Taylor and Travis wore shorts
The Sports Gossip Show opens on an actually serious note today with LA Dodger Kiké Hernandez and his very important support of the immigrant community of Los Angeles. Then, because this is the world we live in, Madeline and Charlotte do some real compartmentalization and get into the fact that Donna Kelce, mother of NFL and podcast stars Jason and Travis, has been cast on the next season of Traitors. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went to a Stanley Cup game and they wore shorts. Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he’s married, but his family doesn’t believe it. Is he married the way he was “immunized?” The gals have questions. Bill Belichick’s gf, Jordon Hudson, posted on her Instagram grid again for the first time in a long time, and is she….telling us something about her relationship? The Red Sox traded star player Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants, once again proving SGS’s point that your employer is not your friend, and that they only want Company Men. Hailee Steinfeld sent out pictures of her wedding to Bills quarterback Josh Allen on her newsletter — it turns out that Madeline and Charlotte called her whole wedding. Plus, the etiquette of wedding rules and commenting on other people’s weddings. The gals have an update on WNBA star Paige Bueckers and UConn star Azzi Fudd, and the vibes are bad on the Dallas Wings because of the coach with a man bun. LSU star Flau’Jae Johnson says she and former teammate Angel Reese aren’t friends (but she’s very cool about it?). And, finally, someone get Reggie Miller a stylist! Hosted on Acast. • Aaron Rodgers is employed (hallelujah), Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz win big, the Knicks go clubbing, and US men’s soccer drama
Madeline and Charlotte have a bone to pick with Ben Stiller: he presented Best Play at the Tony Awards and joked that that isn’t an overlap between people who watch the Tonys and like sports — but we are the place for that overlap, Ben!!! Secondly, a few corrections about Spike Lee and his best friend Al Palagonia. And an update about Hailee Steinfeld’s dad. Coco Gauff took home her first French Open win on Saturday, beating Aryna Sabalenka. Sabalenka said some stuff that she had to walk back at her press conference, and Coco’s dad is very relatable because he’s too stressed to watch his daughter. Carlos Alcaraz continued Rafa Nadal’s tradition of winning on clay, beating Janick Sinner in one of the longest matches ever. Also, some info about Alcaraz’s barber, and Skinner recently announced he’s single and met the pope. An Aaron Rodgers update: He signed with the Steelers, and he might be married (of course news broke after the gals recorded confirming that he’s married). The Knicks fired Tom Thibodeau, and the players went clubbing. Madeline details some drama between the US Men’s National Team drama starring commentator and former player Landon Donovan and USMNT star Christian Pulisic. And, finally, the Dallas Cowboys went dancing. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  • Knicks personality problems, the white collar criminal who sits next to Spike Lee, Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s wedding, and Tom Brady wants a DM
Madeline and Charlotte start the show off with a few admin orders of business and a couple quick and important “informercials,” then it’s down to business. The Knicks are out of the NBA Playoffs, and the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers will be facing off in the Finals. But before they get to that, the gals go over some of the last Knicks gossip of the season (full disclosure: this episode was recorded before New York fired Tom Thibodeau). Including: Is Jalen Brunson annoyed at Karl-Anthony Towns? Are Allie Brunson and Jordyn Woods promoting a specific narrative? Who is the guy who sits next to Spike Lee and why is he a white collar criminal? And how did Timothée Chalamet get Kylie Jenner to go to Indiana on a Saturday night? Then, on to Indiana and Oklahoma City — this matchup might be exciting, but it’s not sexy yet. The gals explain. Charlotte tells a story about how she once had to sleep in a train car inside a hotel, and Madeline tells everybody that she listens to Soulja Boy when she feels claustrophobic on the subway. Let’s be honest, this episode is a little unhinged (complimentary). Actress Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen got married! The gals break down the flowers, the venue, and the fact that Larry David was there — and three of Josh’s teammates were groomsmen! Then it’s time for a little NHL, because the Stanley Cup Final matchup is set, and it’s a rematch of the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. Which, of course brings the gals to check in on the flowers at Oilers star Conor McDavid’s wedding. Then, Steph Curry really loves Benson Boone, as evidenced by a video that came out at a music festival. And, finally, Tom Brady might want a specific person to reply to his Instagram story, and the gals explain why. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  • The Knicks’ vibes are off, Tyrese Haliburton’s dad is free, three UNC sisters won a championship, Paige Bueckers-Azzi Fudd update, and Tom Brady’s recession indicator
Madeline tells Charlotte about her disastrous travel day yesterday, which is why The Sports Gossip Show is coming to you on a Wednesday instead of a Tuesday. But the good news is that Madeline still got her Tuesday Chick-fil-A, and she also found the cheese shop from that Capital One commercial. The gals start off with the NBA Playoffs. The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder have been playing to see who comes out of the Western Conference, but the real drama has been in the East. Simply put: The Knicks’ vibes are totally off. There has to be some co-worker interpersonal drama going on, because nothing else could explain the kind of strange collapses the team has had (also, the President of the Knicks, Leon Rose, is star Jalen Brunson’s godfather). The Pacers have been cookin’ thanks to Tyrese Haliburton, whose dad was banned from games after getting into a fight with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. His dad is allowed back at the arena now, and Haliburton is ballin’. Karli Kloss is joining the ownership group of the New York Liberty — and does anyone else think she and her husband are strategically trying to tie themselves to Taylor Swift still? Real Swifties know. In other women’s basketball news, did former UConn teammates Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers just hard launch their relationship on TikTok? Then, a quick check in on football coach Bill Belichick, who once again renamed his boat — potentially because he’s engaged to Jordon Hudson. Unless it’s just commemorating her cheerleading national championship. Tough to say. Staying in New England for a moment, the Humphrey sisters from Darien, Connecticut won a lacrosse national championship at UNC, which is a story Charlotte tells Madeline that involves some serious tangents. F1’s Lando Norris hard-launched his girlfriend, Margarida Corceiro, at the Monaco Grand Prix, so Madeline explains what that’s all about. NFL rookie Travis Hunter’s new wife wore a very compressed flower veil, and he gave her a car at their wedding. And, finally, Andy Murray is no longer coaching tennis star Novak Djokovic, which that gals could’ve told you was never a good idea.  Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  • The Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy comes to visit, Jordon Hudson followed us on Instagram, and Tottenham Hotspur Son Heung-min was blackmailed
Today, Madeline and Charlotte welcome a very special guest: Thanks to the NBA, the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy came to visit at the studio (aka Charlotte’s apartment)! A true dream guest who helped the gals with their Sports Gossip Show Eastern and Western Conference Finals preview episode. The Knicks haven’t made it this far in 25 years, and it’s against the Pacers, the last team they played in the ECFs, and the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. In the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder are facing the Minnesota Timberwolves, and it’s a war of the young stars: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Edwards. Also, Shai is playing his cousin, Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Plus: Knicks WAGs, Myles Turner has a huge collection of legos, “Doin’ it for Mike,” and more! Also, Giannis Antetokounmpo did a very intriguing Q+A on Twitter, and the gals talk about their trip to the Liberty home opener on Saturday. Then, the big announcement: Jordon Hudson followed The Sports Gossip Show on Instagram. So Madeline and Charlotte invite her to make an appearance! The new Bill Belichick PR machine seems to be working, because the narrative is changing. Also, are they engaged?A quick shoutout to Toronto Maple Leaf fans, who are really going through it. Then, some Premier League gossip: two people were arrested on charges of blackmailing Son Heung-min — a player for Tottenham Hotspur and one of South Korea’s most famous athletes — with paternity claims, the police said on Sunday. Also, a golfer threw a club at the PGA Championship, and Larsa Pippen says she dated Detroit Pistons player Malik Beasley because she “had Covid brain!” Hosted on Acast.
