Today’s word of the day is ‘best fit’ as in Giannis Antetokounmpo as in Milwaukee as in the Bucks as in Doc Rivers as in trade. It looks like Giannis finally wants out. He didn’t ask for a trade, but he asked for a trade. Should Milwaukee facilitate that? Will his latest calf injury keep him from being traded? (12:00) The Los Angeles Clippers have released Chris Paul in what was supposed to be his retirement tour season. What a mess. It looked like Paul and head coach Tyronn Lue just couldn’t get on the same page. (26:30) Zion Williamson is hurt again. Going to miss another three weeks. There was no reason the Pelicans should have guaranteed his contract for this season, and here we are. (34:00) Review: The Descendants. (38:00) NPPOD. (43:30) Steve Cohen is so close to getting his $8.1 billion dream built. The New York State Gaming Commission is a vote away from granting Cohen one of the three gambling licenses. If that happens, a casino is coming to Citi Field. Wow.

Blue Jays sign Cease to record deal! Rendon, Angels buyout! Red Sox and Cardinals payroll updates! (Episode 1386 Hour 2)
The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to the largest free agent contract in franchise history with Dylan Cease. He was the biggest name out there. $210 million total for a 30-year old pitcher. The Blue Jays were one win away from a World Series title. (14:30) Anthony Rendon and the Angels are in buyout discussions. One of the worst contract in MLB history. It’s in the final year. (24:00) Luka Doncic had a problem with the NBA Cup courts so the court went away. For the NBA Cup the league gives out special courts for teams to play on. Well, Luka said the courts were dangerous. (35:00) The Boston Red Sox have a payroll update. How much is the team going to spend? Is the team willing to lose money? (44:00) The St. Louis Cardinals are now a revenue sharing recipient. Unheard of.

Today’s word of the day is ‘self righteous’ as in Lane Kiffin as in Ole Miss as in LSU as in college football. What a Sunday in the SEC. We saw six schools make decisions. From Lane being run out of Mississippi to Louisiana, to Florida, to Auburn, to Kentucky, to Arkansas. Did Kiffin think he was going to be able to continue coaching Ole Miss this season? LSU still has to pay Brain Kelly. That divorce ends with Kelly collecting the full $53 million that he was due. (24:00) The ACC did this to themselves.
