    This Devotional address with Casey Puzey was delivered on June 10th at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Casey was raised in Sugar City, Idaho, and served a mission in Busan, South Korea. He received his associate degree in psychology from Ricks College, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Idaho State University, and a master’s degree in counseling from Idaho State University. Casey has worked in the Student Honor Office for almost 11 years. He married Diana Gee in 1996. They have four children and four grandsons. Casey loves pickleball, fishing, and making big plans to travel the world someday.

  • Trials Are God’s Plan for Growth | Jenifer Craner | June 2025
    This Devotional address with Jenifer Craner was delivered on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Jenifer Craner began working at BYU-Idaho in 2013 as the IT Office Assistant. In 2018, she moved to the Human Resources department and currently fills the position of HR Coordinator for Temporary Employment. Jenifer has been married for almost 31 years to Cary Craner, who also works at BYU-Idaho. Jenifer and her husband enjoy living in the country and raising their family. They have four children, as well as two grandsons and two granddaughters. Jenifer loves music and enjoys playing the piano. Her other hobbies include cooking, trying new recipes, and doing gel nails for family, friends, and herself. Above all, she enjoys quality time spent with her family around the dinner table. Jenifer has served in Primary as music leader and pianist, in the Relief Society presidency, and nearly all Young Women callings. She currently serves as the Young Women secretary.

  • Choose to Believe | Elder David P. Homer | May 2025
    This Devotional address with Elder David P. Homer was delivered on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11:45 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Homer was sustained as a General Authority Seventy on March 31, 2018. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy in the Europe Area. He previously served as a member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy in the North America Northeast Area from 2013 to 2014. Elder Homer currently serves as a member of the Seventy with assignments at Church headquarters in Salt Lake City. He has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the China Hong Kong Mission, bishop, stake president, and regional welfare chairman. Elder Homer received a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Utah in 1985. In 1987 he received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania. For 31 years he worked at General Mills, Inc., including assignments in the United States, Latin America, Australasia, Canada, and Europe. When he retired, he was CEO of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a global joint venture between General Mills and Nestlé S.A. David Paul Homer was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 25, 1961.

  • Known and Loved | Sister Nancy D. Homer | May 2025
    This Devotional address with Sister Nancy Dransfield Homer was delivered on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Sister Homer was born in Seattle, Washington, to Howard Eugene and JoyeAnn Shurtleff Dransfield. Sister Homer met her husband after graduating from Brigham Young University and while working in Salt Lake City and attending the University of Utah. Elder and Sister Homer were married on July 31, 1984, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of six children and currently have nine grandchildren. Sister Homer has served as an early-morning seminary teacher, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president, ward Relief Society president, and in various other positions.
