Time for a walk in the woods…a Sylvaneth Battletome redux.  This could also be considered podcast comfort food for Dan & Brendan since we both enjoy this army so much.  We are also joined by cohost Dave, not for Liber Nordsturmus, but for a fun reaction to the Friday Preview from the week before.  A great variety of reveals, mostly hits, a few misses.  Of course, the usual podcast fare for our listeners as well.  We will be discussing the new GHB and the Summer Battlescroll in the next episode…my poor SpiteRevs!  Maybe even some Scourge of Aqshy discussion if time allows.

Yes, Cogforts are cool…Dan has been enlightened.  As for the rest of the Cities Battletome, another solid delivery.  We really enjoyed discussing all aspects of this tome, from Traits to Artifacts to Units to Armies/Regiments of Renown.  However, Brendan warns that this is a very complex book that will take a lot of study and practice to get the most out of.  Conversely, very rewarding and powerful once mastered.  Watch out for those perpetually charging Cavaliers!  Dave is back as well to discuss the desert planet of Tallarn and its part in the Horus heresy.  Also, be sure to give a listen to a brief announcement about the podcast in Show Close.

The long lost Elven relic has been found…we finally review the Lumineth Realm Lords Battletome! Those Runes are quite the puzzle to solve, but they are powerful for sure. Talk about magic…almost every Hero in this book is a wizard! A solid book, but not for the beginner…those seeking a challenge will certainly be rewarded when they figure this one out. We also briefly discuss the “stand on rectangles” change to objective rules in 40K and how it may impact those of us who hobby in the Mortal Realms.

Another awesome tome!  So many moving parts for these glass cannons with knives, but when they all come together, most frightening!  A Shadow Queen that can be resurrected, a manifestation that removes Ward Saves…and there’s more.  Like the Treelord Ancient in the last episode, Brendan again gives Dan pause in his excitement for a Hero in this book…what could it be?  The big question…will Dan be throwing down with a four Shrine list…and a large side order of Blood Hags with that please!
