The most inexcusable thing that has not been discussed enough: the defense was terrible. They spent a ton of money. Saleh is a defensive coach. So why is it this bad?

The Titans’ 23-10 loss to the Jets was not just Week 1. Here is why it actually matters.

The Jets were just as bad as Tennessee last year. If there is a “talent gap,” explain how their defense was better after trading Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams.

The starters looked just as bad against 49ers and Seahawks backups in the preseason. At some point you are just bad.

Saleh’s 20-36 record is harder to blame on the Jets when the Jets just blew you out.

Cam Ward showed no improvement. Tyler Shough and Jaxson Dart did.

Fans feel sold a timeshare. That anger is going to boil over.
