Following the siege of Connorstown our heroes travel across the United States trying to catch up with Carter Stone and Karl Trevino who always seem to be a step ahead. Meanwhile, an interview James doesn't remember giving seems to offer a glimpse into an alternative life.

Following clues picked up in Abigail's podcast, Preston seeks out a mysterious pawn shop reputed to sell occult artefacts in the hopes of finding something to change his fortunes.
