Cartel boss Sean McGovern is taking a case against the Irish Prison Service saying the nature of his incarceration is damaging for his mental health.

A security breach is under investigation in Portlaoise Prison after Daniel Kinahan managed to speak to his former landing mate Ali Mazidi in hospital.
Kinahan was in the gym with Mazidi last month when the Iranian took a heart attack, the alleged Cartel boss helped keep him alive as medical assistance arrived.
