Grief is not evidence of weak faith. It’s evidence that we have loved. As we enter a week marked by the anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and the remembrance of 9/11, I want to talk about what Scripture actually says about sorrow. Jesus wept. God draws near to the brokenhearted. And Christians are never asked to pretend that loss doesn’t hurt.
