For Episode 7, we look at Frank Sinatra for the second time, with his 1956 album, Songs For Swingin' Lovers. Compared to the first Sinatra album we discussed, this album is a lot more upbeat and happy. It was recorded one year after the heartbreak album, In The Wee Small Hours, and the much happier, upbeat album songs featured here are a breath of fresh air. Gone are the days when we were listening to Sinatra pine over lost love. Now, he is back and happier than ever.

6. Duke Ellington - Ellington at Newport
Episode 6 has us look at Duke Ellington's 1956 live album, Ellington at Newport. Well, it was supposed to be a live album. Ellington was asked to come into the studio the Monday after the live performance, to re-record several parts of the show. Phil explains his disappointment about learning this. 4. Louis Prima - The Wildest!
In episode four of the 1001 Albums Journey, we look at Louis Prima and his 1956 album, The Wildest! It is a fun album, full of songs that make you want to jump, jive, or wail in excitement. It's cheeky, funny and jazzy, and this album is worthy of your time, but listen to this episode for more information about this worthwhile album that, in my opinion, (spoiler) deserves its place in the 1001 albums to hear before you die book.
