Episode 140 - Louisa Whittingham | Wilmslow RC | Marathon | Gladular Fever

    24/06/2026 | 1 h 22 min
    --- 🏃‍♂️ EPISODE OVERVIEW ---
In Episode 140 of the Local Runners Podcast, we sit down with Louisa Whittingham who has PBs of 5k - 17:16, 10k - 35:29, half - 79:33, marathon - 2:46:54. Being in a family of runners, the competitive nature is definitely there. Getting kudos from Grandad, beating dad to be the fastest Whittingham, she has excelled in running over the years. Running in the US being at University helped the PBs come down, even doing a 10k on the track! Working in the US and being fatigued, there was more to it where she found she was Gluten intolerant. Louisa came home from the US and started to hit the bigger distances with half marathons and marathons where she began to realise that the longer distances suited her more.
