The Martyrs are so important to us as Christians. They are a constant reminder of perseverance and unwavering faith in Christ. In learning about the martyrs I have had tremendous conviction at the blessing of being a modern day Christian in America. It has also helped me to be more faithful in not neglecting to gather with the saints. We read scripture and learn about Stephen, the first martyr. I hope you are encouraged in your walk with Christ.
